Anthurium Bugatti Royale

This short variety of Anthurium, Bugatti Royale flowers with tangerine spathes that have a sunset-coloured spadix. This plant is a vibrant feature to your home or tropical garden with its bright pear-shaped leaves that grow in abundance. While this plant adds regal vibes to your space it also purifies your air as though you are royalty too.

Keep this bright orange anthurium somewhere with little light and lots of humidity. With some extra love and attention, be prepared to watch it bloom those full and large tangerine spathes all year long which also make for aesthetic cut flowers.

PLANT ME

In your favourite well-draining pot. Or outdoor garden settings such as borders or containers. Pick a colour that compliments these bold tangerine hues.

KEEP ME IN

A sheltered position with bright filtered light and a comfortable temperature. If you feel I need some love place me in the kitchen or bathroom for a while.

PUT ME OUT

In a tropical environment with plenty of warmth and humidity. Just make sure I am sheltered and not too cold.

WATER ME

Once a week in the warmer months then every two or four weeks in the cooler months. I don’t like to be over watered but love a little mist of water every now and then.

FEED ME

Every 2-4 weeks in my growing period with a fertiliser that is great for leaf sustainance and development. I favour fertilisers that are high in calcium and nitrogen as this mimics my native environment on the island of Borneo.

I LIKE

A comfortable and humid environment. With proper care I can thrive both indoors and outdoors as long as you bring me inside during the cold months.

Keep out of reach from children and pets as I am toxic when ingested. Can cause skin and eye irritation.

Care Tips	I don't like the cold so pay attention to what temperatures you find comfortable and keep me there (I do love humidity). If you’re keeping me indoors, please remember to wipe away dust on my leaves every so often so that I can breathe sufficiently. With a sharp pair of scissors, you can prune away any damaged or dying leaves. Root-rot isn't fun, so be sure that you are not overwatering and that I am settled in a well-draining container with porous soil. Make sure my top layer is semi-dry before watering again.
