PLANT ME

In your favourite well-draining pot (pick a colour that compliments these bright cherry hues). Or outdoor garden settings such as borders or containers.

KEEP ME IN

A sheltered position with filtered light and a comfortable temperature. (I do love a bit of humidity so somewhere like the bathroom is my dream).

PUT ME OUT

In a spot inside where I can be admired, like on your deck or veranda. As long as you remember to bring me inside during the winter months.

WATER ME

Once a week in the warmer months then every two or four weeks in the cooler months. I don’t like to be over watered but love a little mist of water every now and then.

FEED ME

While I grow feed me once a month with a balanced fertiliser that contains a high amount of phosphorous. Remember less is more.

I LIKE

A comfortable and humid environment preferably inside.

MY FLOWERS

Appear all year round and make for enchanting cut flowers. If you leave them be they look pretty amid leaves for many weeks.

Planting Tips	Root-rot isn't fun, so be sure that you are not overwatering and that I am settled in a well-draining container with porous soil. Make sure my top layer is semi-dry before watering again. I don't like the cold so pay attention to temperatures your find comfortable and keep me there (I am a sucker for humid weather too).
